A rebuilt eCommerce when simple relocation was no longer possible<\/h3>\n\n

Pronto Pizza Muralto needed to regain control of its digital presence and continue to sell online without depending on the previous infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n

What was initially supposed to be a normal transfer of a WordPress site turned into a complete recovery and reconstruction<\/strong> project.<\/p>\n\n

Swiss Web Studio was in fact faced with a very different situation from a classic migration: there was no complete and usable backup of the previous WordPress site with databases, configurations, products, orders, templates and WooCommerce settings ready to be transferred.<\/p>\n\n

The recoverable material was fragmented and mainly included CSV exports and catalog data<\/strong>, along with the available references of the previous version of the site.<\/p>\n\n

Instead of stopping the project, we rebuilt the entire platform.https:\/\/prontopizzamuralto.ch <\/a><\/p>\n\n

Delivery and Take Away<\/h2>\n\n

One of the most important parts of the project was the reconstruction of the operational logic of eCommerce.<\/p>\n\n

It was not enough to allow you to add a pizza to the cart.<\/p>\n\n

The system had to adapt to the real functioning of the business and correctly distinguish between:<\/p>\n\n

Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

and<\/p>\n\n

Take Away.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The rules necessary to manage the delivery area in the Locarno area, the supported postcodes and the related conditions were then configured and developed.<\/p>\n\n

This allows WooCommerce to become not simply a shop, but an operational tool for the pizzeria.<\/p>\n\n

\n\n

A recovery project, not a simple restyling<\/h2>\n\n

Pronto Pizza is one of the projects that best describes the way Swiss Web Studio works.<\/p>\n\n

When we started, we were not given a complete site to duplicate and modify.<\/p>\n\n

We had to rebuild a digital ecosystem starting from the information that could actually be retrieved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Catalog, structure and functionality were progressively recomposed until we had a platform that could be used by the customer again.<\/p>\n\n

It was a combination of:<\/p>\n\n

technical analysis, data recovery, WordPress, WooCommerce, UX, eCommerce and problem solving.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The result<\/h2>\n\n

Pronto Pizza Muralto once again has a website under its control and a WooCommerce platform through which it can independently manage its online business.<\/p>\n\n

The new system allows you to centralize:<\/p>\n\n

  • prices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • orders;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • delivery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • take away;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • payments;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • availability;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • catalog management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    The new structure is also much easier to evolve over time, allowing new features to be added without having to start from scratch.<\/p>\n\n

    When a migration becomes a reconstruction<\/h2>\n\n

    A company website should be an asset of the company.<\/p>\n\n

    For this reason, a company should be able to have access, domain, data and a system that can be transferred and maintained over time.<\/p>\n\n

    The Pronto Pizza project presented us with a complex situation.<\/p>\n\n

    Our task was not to establish responsibilities between suppliers.<\/p>\n\n

    It was to find a solution.<\/p>\n\n

    And we found it.<\/p>\n\n
