The Elisa Foundation was established in the 1990s in consideration of the inconveniences and practical and economic problems involved in a serious illness for the child and his or her family, which add to the suffering, worries and uncertainties inherent in the illness itself.
Collaboration with the Elisa Association began shortly thereafter: important and decisive for the Foundation has been the Association’s constant commitment to fundraising, especially with the organization of the traditional fall Gala for charity.
